GORILLA THEATRE BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS
The Gorilla Theatre is currently undergoing building improvements in order to comply with fire codes, and it is temporarily closed to the public for the month of October. The Theatre is working closely with the Fire Marshall to ensure that our facility will be fully compliant as soon as possible. As a result of this work, please note the following changes in our scheduled activities. Please check our web site www.gorillatheatre.com regularly for updates.
GORILLA THEATRE SCHEDULE FOR SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER
Canceled or Postponed:
September 24th CHARLEY AND EMMA will be rescheduled for November.
September 28th JAZZ AT THE GORILLA canceled.
October 23-Nov 9 MAD FOREST canceled.
Ongoing:
Sundays TEEN ACTORS Ongoing, and still accepting students. Please email info@gorillatheatre.com for information.
Mondays TEEN PLAYWRIGHTS Rescheduled, will begin on Monday October 20th. Still accepting students. Please email info@gorillatheatre.com for information.
WHAT DOES THE BUILDING WORK CONSIST OF?
The Gorilla Theatre is adding an extra exit from the theatre and a firewall to separate the audience from our backstage area. Both these changes will make the theatre safer for our audience members. Theatregoers will also notice that the space is cozier and even more intimate than before, due to a reduction in the number of seats. We urge all our patrons to make reservations, and to do so as early as possible, in order to avoid disappointment.
REOPENING
The next Gorilla Theatre main stage production will be Six Degrees Of Separation, Dec 4-21. Bechir Sylvain, Ami Sallee Corley and Drew DeCaro head a cast of Gorilla Theatre favorites in this thought-provoking comedy-drama. Tickets are on sale now at www.gorillatheatre.com or 813-879-2914. Book early to avoid disappointment.
SEASON PASS HOLDERS
The Gorilla Pass has no expiration date. Therefore, any clicks that are unused due to the change in schedule may be used, in any combination and for any show, next season. Season pass holders who have questions or concerns of any kind should email Bridget Bean at info@gorillatheatre.com.
